- We are committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of our employees, so
far as is reasonably practicable.
We
also fully accept our responsibility for other persons who may be affected by our
activities.
We
will take steps to ensure that our statutory duties are met at all times.
- Each employee or sub-contractor will be given such information, instruction and
training as is necessary to enable the safe performance of work activities. This includes
the identification of specific risks in Client organisations and notified by the Client to
gpb Management Consultancy, or directly to those visiting. It is our duty to ensure that
all equipment, vehicles, processes and systems of work are designed and maintained to
minimise health and safety risks.
Adequate
facilities and arrangements will be maintained to enable employees, Associates, Clients
and their representatives to raise issues of health and safety. Further, all Consultants, Associates and
Trainers operating in Client organisations will abide by the specific health, Safety & Welfare Policies
and practices defined by the Client. When leading seminars in client or other premises we
will assess the safety of access and egress from such premises and ensure delegates are
advised of relevant and appropriate procedures in the event of emergency.
Competent
people will be appointed to assist us in meeting our statutory duties.
Every
employee, sub-contractor and Client must co-operate with us to enable all statutory duties
to be complied with. The successful implementation of this policy requires total
commitment from everyone.
Each individual
has a legal obligation to take reasonable care for his or her own health and safety, and
for the safety of other people who may be affected by his or her acts or omissions.
Full details of
the organisation and arrangements for health and safety are set out in our Health, Safety,
Welfare & Environmental Manual.
This policy will
be regularly monitored to ensure that the objectives are achieved. It will be reviewed
and, if necessary, revised in the light of suggested improvements, legislative or
organisational changes.
