Objectives:

A one-day course to enable Directors / Senior Staff to understand the Business Excellence Model and to apply techniques to measure improvements in business results. Our methodology assists delegates define:

  • The critical success factors on which their organisations will build and gain competitive advantage.

  • And identify non-value-added activities.

  • The key business processes that must be implemented to assure quality services / products and stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Performance criteria.

  • A framework for benchmarking and improvement.

Outcomes:

At the end of the workshop delegates will be able to:

  • Understand the role of Quality Systems, IIP and EMS in the Business Excellence Model.

  • Apply the principles of TQM using the EFQM Model.

  • Identify value and non-value added activities.

  • Understand Business Processes including interface processes with customers / suppliers / sub-contractors.

  • Work in a Team to outline critical success factors.

  • Review existing controls and measures and agree the basis for process monitoring.

  • Apply the model and commence Action Plans for improvement.
